Score a 1 or 2? Get half back.
If you actually used the platform to prep and still scored a 1 or 2 on the AP Chemistry exam, we'll refund half your Lifetime purchase. Here's exactly what qualifies.
Guarantee Terms
To qualify for the refund, you must purchase Lifetime while signed in with a real email address. Guest and anonymous accounts do not qualify, as we need to tie the claim to your identity. The guarantee is designed for students who genuinely use Simistry to prepare for their exam, so you must purchase at least 60 days before your AP Chemistry exam date. Same-week purchases made immediately before the exam are excluded from this guarantee.
You must complete a minimum of 40 hours of study time across at least 6 of the 9 AP Chemistry units. Your dashboard automatically tracks your usage, so no additional documentation is required on your part. This usage floor ensures that the guarantee applies to students who have meaningfully engaged with the platform.
When submitting your refund claim, you must record your screen live from start to finish. Using the Refund page, start a screen recording and keep your browser's address bar visible throughout the entire recording. You must log into College Board live on camera—do not start already signed in. Scroll immediately as soon as each page loads, then navigate to and clearly display your AP Chemistry score. The recording must be one continuous take with no cuts or edits.
Submit your claim within 14 days of your AP score release. Your recording uploads directly from the Refund page, and refunds are processed within 7–14 business days. This guarantee is limited to one claim per person per Lifetime purchase. We reserve the right to verify all claims and may deny refunds if the requirements are not met or if fraud is suspected.
The guarantee refunds a share of what you paid, so it requires a paid purchase. The first 25 accounts on Simistry were granted Lifetime access free of charge as founding members; that access was never purchased, carries no payment, and is therefore not covered by this guarantee. Founding access itself is permanent and unaffected. If you hold a founding seat and later buy Pro with your own money, that purchase keeps its own separate refund window.
Why we offer this
We built Simistry to help students actually understand chemistry, not just memorize for a test. If you put in the work and still don't see results, we don't want your money. This guarantee is our way of standing behind the product and giving you peace of mind.
